The Cabin Trip

Thanks to Matt's dad we get to go up to Arnold every year. This year was an extra crazy year because of all the snow up there this time. We told our other friend Matt that he wouldn't need chains but as you can see it was a good thing he didn't listen to us and brought them!

The other reason we go to the cabin is to have a Rock Band marathon weekend (thanks Russell)
Here is the whole group!
Matt B., Geoff, Robert, Matt R., Kacy, Noe, Emily, Me, Erin, Bethany, Lauren, Megan, and Russell.
So in the past year if there has been maybe an inch of snow around the cabin. As you can see there is a lot more! It was awesome because we usually have to go find a place to sled but this time we built our own in the neighbor's driveway.
Geoff jumped of the porch.
Here is Erin, Bethany, and me on our sled run.
Matt really really liked it!

Our Christmas tree

Well, while I am trying my best to catch you all up on the past year I am finding that we didn't take that many pictures of the important stuff. But here are 2 pictures of our first christmas tree as a married couple. As you can tell in the back ground we are still moving in 5 months later (Geoff and I hate unpacking). But isn't it the tree cute.

The Mexico Honeymoon

We decided to wait and go on the second half of our honeymoon 2 months later and we went to Cancun, Mexico.
They had crocodiles at the resort, crazy.
One of the trips we took stopped at a Cenote, which is just a huge hole filled with water, and you could swim in this one which was cool.
I wasn't very good at getting a picture of Geoff on the way down but this is his splash.
Then we went to Chichen Itza, which are old Mayan ruins. This was Geoff's favorite part. And it was really cool but it was pouring down rain the whole time.

Then we also went to Xel Ha, which was really cool. It had a natural lazy river that opened up to meet the salt water in this cove. it was really cool. You could ride a bike up the hill to float on a tube down. There was a rope swing and snokeling. it was pretty sweet.

The last night at the resort there was a mexican fiesta and all the men got hats and all the women these scarfs. Don't we look pretty cool.

The San Diego Honeymoon

Here is the Estancia Hotel we stayed the first couple nights. It was great and totally relaxing.

Then my mom was able to get her hands on some Padres tickets (GO PADRES!) and we invited anyone who was still around after the wedding to join us.

Then we headed up to Carlsbad for a couple nights. Man San Diego beaches are way better than up north.

Then we headed up to San Luis Obispo and met up with Geoff's cousin Lisa and her husband Scott. I guess we didn't give Lisa enough waring for the picture or she really liked the food and made sure it was in the photo :)

This was where we stayed when we were in San Luis, it was perfect; for a quarter the trolly out front, took us downtown for the for the farmers market. Which definitely lived up to the hype.
And here was our truck packed on the inside because of all the stops we were making on our way back up to Rohnert Park. So much for using the truck for what you use a truck for.

The Wedding

Here are some of our favorite pictures from the wedding.

This is the pin that the women on my Mom's side of the famiy have worn on their wedding day since 1866.
